It’s official, Mr Hobbs is welcoming Christmas with open arms!
We have recently been at several festive events including the magical Waddesdon Christmas Fair. The event is running until 16th December so if you haven’t visited already, there’s still time to go get those last few prezzies (or maybe even the first few, depending on how organised you’ve been this year!). We were there for the second week (21st Nov-25th Nov) with all our products including the brand-new gin and orange chocolate truffles we have recently launched with local chocolatier Gorvett & Stone.
How to know your Pearly Class from your Edwardian launch.
At Hobbs of Henley we’ve been renting out boats to day trippers for nearly 150 years, so we know how important it is to have boats that can meet a variety of needs. Whether you want to take a step back in time to the Edwardian era and enjoy a picnic with a group of friends, take your family for an hour-long spin in our smaller Pearly class launches or have some fun in a traditional rowing boat, we have the self-drive boat hire experience for you.
Established in 1839, Henley Regatta is of world class status and is arguably our most famed production of the year. Over the 5 day period, more than two hundred races take place in 565 boats on the 2112 metre course, attracting hundreds of thousands of spectators dressed in their finery.
