Deep Rooted

The 5th generation family business Hobbs of Henley has a ‘Deep Rooted’ heritage. Mr Hobbs Gin is complimented by the sweet, tart rhubarb & ginger liqueur, finished with a delicate richness from the French aperitif.

INGREDIENTS
45ml Mr Hobbs Gin
45ml Rhubarb & Ginger liqueur
15ml Cloudy Apple Juice
7.5ml French aperitif (Lillet Blanc)

HOW TO CREATE
Place all ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and fine strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.

EMBELLISH
Dehydrated apple slice.

Thames Bank Martini

A true martini in name and taste. Mr Hobbs Gin is deliciously aromatized through the wine & vermouth, highlighting the zesty citrus & floral notes of the botanical spirits.

INGREDIENTS
60ml Mr Hobbs Gin
15ml Elderflower liqueur
15ml White wine (Chardonnay)
7.5ml Dry Vermouth

HOW TO CREATE
Place all ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and fine strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.

EMBELLISH
Cucumber slice or fan.

From Grace To Flourish

The Princess Grace of Monaco (Grace Kelly) has an annual rowing event named after her at the Henley Regatta. This long fruity cocktail underlines the intensely flavored raspberry & elderflower liqueur, with a refreshing tartness from the citrus notes.

INGREDIENTS
10 x Fresh raspberries (25ml raspberry puree)
60ml Mr Hobbs Gin
15ml Raspberry & Elderflower liqueur
35ml Fresh lemon juice
15ml Sugar Syrup
3 x dashes orange bitters
Top up with Soda

HOW TO CREATE
Muddle raspberries in shaker, place top 5 ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and fine strain into a ice filled hi-ball & top up with soda.

EMBELLISH
Raspberry mint & viola flower.

Grow Your Own 

Inspired by Spring Time and the concept of growing your own garnishes. We first debuted this cocktail at The Ideal Home Show as part of a sustainable living exhibition.

INGREDIENTS
50ml Mr Hobbs Gin
Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic
Fresh Lemon Juice
Wheel of Lemon
Sprig of Rosemary

HOW TO CREATE
Pop plenty of good quality ice into a long glass and pour over 50ml of Mr Hobbs Gin. Add several drops of fresh lemon juice and fill to the top with Mediterranean Fever-Tree tonic water.

EMBELLISH
A wheel of lemon and a sprig of rosemary.

Mr Hobbs Fruit Cup

This delicious quintessential English mix combines Mr Hobbs Gin, orange liqueur sweet vermouth & ginger ale to create a fresh, moreish cocktail.

INGREDIENTS
30ml Mr Hobbs Gin
30ml Orange liqueur
30ml Sweet Vermouth
2 x dashes aromatic bitters
Top up with ginger ale

HOW TO CREATE
Place top 4 ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and strain into a ice filled hi-ball & top up with ginger ale.

EMBELLISH
Lemon, orange strawberry & mint.

Hobbs Salty Dog (Martini)

This a la mode version of the classic ‘Salty Dog’, is intensified by the complex botanicals of the Hobbs 150. We set sail with a gentle encounter of maraschino cherry on the lips, which introduces the citrus notes of the gin, increasing to an alluring bittersweet citrus zest of the grapefruit. The lime infused salt around the rim will suppress the bitterness of the fresh grapefruit and intensify the explosion of ice-cold citrus spice on the palate.

INGREDIENTS
60ml HOBBS 150 LONDON DRY GIN
60ml Fresh pink grapefruit
5ml Luxardo Maraschino liquor
Lime Infused sea salt. (dehydrate lime zest with sea salt)

HOW TO CREATE
Rub a fresh lime around the rim of the glass and immerse rim into lime infused sea salt. Place all other ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and fine strain into martini glass.

EMBELLISH
Twist of grapefruit peel.

 

Harry’s Mule

We muddle the ginger to super charge the spice and body of Hobbs 150, combing lime for a fresh citrus balance & sweet fresh mint to finish the botanical mix. Then top up with ginger beer, creating a cool fresh spice with a crisp fiery depth.

INGREDIENTS
60ml HOBBS 150 LONDON DRY GIN
15ml Lime
12 mint leaves
2 thumb nail slices of ginger
Top up with Fever tree ginger beer

HOW TO CREATE
Muddle ginger in the base of the shaker, bruise mint leaves, add gin, lime juice, ice & shake. Fine strain into an ice filled hi-ball glass & top up with ginger beer.

EMBELLISH
Mint & Lime.

Red Lion

A hint of chili heat lift this full-flavored cocktail to a new level. Lively, fresh, complex & very moreish.

INGREDIENTS
60ml HOBBS 150 LONDON DRY GIN
15ml Lemon
15ml Elderflower cordial
45ml Blood Orange Juice
2 x Dashes Chipotle Bitters

HOW TO CREATE
Shake all ingredients in an ice filled shaker.

EMBELLISH
Lemon Peel or for more intensity a slice of chili.

 

Gentlemens Mojito

A ‘homestyle’, quintessential take on the mojito. Cool, Fresh & floral, with a delicious tartness from the lime & marmalade.

INGREDIENTS
60ml HOBBS 150 LONDON DRY GIN
60ml Cloudy Apple
25ml Lime
15ml Elderflower cordial
X2 bar spoons of marmalade
8 x mint leaves

HOW TO CREATE
Dissolve marmalade with gin in the base of a cocktail tin, add other ingredients, ice & shake. Fine strain into an ice filled rocks glass.

EMBELLISH
Mint & apple slice.
